The clip-on hooks onto the top and bottom of your prescription glass frames with a spring in the middle for tension. The hooks have rubber or plastic coatings to help protect the lenses from damage. We do not recommend clip-ons for rimless or semi-rimless glasses. These are generic shape clip-ons and the goal is to get as close to your frame shape/size as possible without them being too snug or too big on your frame.
